Czech Sightshounds Club History

السلام عليكم اصدقاء سلوقي (سلوغي
Salam Aleikum friends of sighthounds!

Czech Sighthounds Club
was established by a group of sighthounds fanciers on the spring Brno exhibition in 1995. At the end of the year 1996 Club members sent an application form to Czech Cynologic Union requesting to include club as a member of ČMKU. In May 1997 the club was accepted temporarily as a candidate of ČMKU and in 1999 it granted full membership.

In the Czech Republic Czech Sighthounds Club is the only one organization which deals with breeding of azawahk and sloughi. In the worldwide perspective there were bred very promising litters. The Club exhibitions are held anually in summertime which is suitable for warm-requiring sighthounds and usually judges from abroad are invited.

Except the breeding is the mission of Club to gather fanciers of sighthounds and to evolve these orient breeds in the Czech Republic.
